the diy manicure

It seems easy enough… clip, file, and paint. So then why is it every time you try to DIY a manicure it ends up looking like you are competing in a Freddie Kruger look-a-like contest… and really determined to win. It usually boils down to one of two reasons: a) inferior tools and techniques or b) the new Game of Thrones is playing and something amazing just happened. Either way, turn off the t.v., settle in, and get ready to change your nail game from eek to on fleek

The Tools:
non-acetone nail polish remover and cotton balls
nail file
buffing block
Bodipure Keratin Gloves
Glow Dry LED Dryer
gel nail Polish (base coat, color, and top coat)

Step 1

Use a non-acetone remover to get rid of any lingering dirt or nastiness (i.e. the grunge chipped manicure you are sporting). Use the nail file to shape your nails to the desired length. The buffing block is better used to smooth the surface of the nail (pro-tip: this will remove the yellow stains that occur from wearing too much dark polish).

Step 2

Use the Bodipure Keratin Gloves to soften and nourish your skin. This is especially helpful for people who have dry or damaged skin. The keratin and vitamin E have the added benefit of strengthening your nails, and softening your cuticles.

Step 3
Use your favorite gel based nail products and the Glow Dry LED Nail Dryer to get amazing looking nails, without worrying about smearing, chipping, or what happens when your nails haven’t dried completely and they end up getting wrinkles everywhere.
